DOD Internships

An innovative Office of Naval Research (ONR) program looks to Navy and Marine Corps veterans for the cutting edge in alternative energy. The Energy Systems Technology Evaluation Program, or ESTEP, in partnership with Cal State San Marcos and SPAWAR Pacific, helps student veterans find high-level, meaningful opportunities in energy-related fields within the Navy and Marine Corps.

This option, known as the Energy System Technology Program (ESTEP), is an opportunity for undergraduate veterans majoring in STEM fields to obtain paid professional experience while participating in cutting-edge alternative energy research for the Department of the Navy.
